Location: Onboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. 22134.
Position Description:
Claxton Logistics Services LLC, a leader in the defense community, is looking for qualified, professional Security Support Specialists to join our Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) Professional Support Services Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) team. The scope of this effort includes provisions for support to the Security Division, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps Combat Development and Integration (HQMC CD&I).
Primary Duties:
The contractor shall provide TS/SCI cleared Access Control Personnel that are professional, to provide access control functions to ensure entry control points are monitored, personnel clearances are verified with appropriate badges exchanged, and only authorized personnel are provided access to secure area/SCIF within the General Raymond Davis Center.
Additionally,
- Contractor support will include clearance verification via the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, or other authorized means.
- Issuing visitor and temporary badges to visitors and CD&I employees.
- Properly filling out the CD&I Visitor Logs; validation of Information System Authorization Access Requests (background investigation and clearance information portion); update access rosters.
- Submit and track information technology helpdesk tickets for the SCI network; report all security incidents to the CD&I Security Division.
- Complete security forms associated to the Open/Close procedures of the General Davis Center.
- Screen incoming and outgoing documents and/or packages that are hand carried by visitors or employees, to ensure that they are properly wrapped and curried in accordance with CD&I policy.
- Conduct random anti-terrorism measure (RAM) inspections on personnel entering the SCIF.
- Become familiar with and utilize CD&I’s Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and alarm station; conduct detailed turnovers with CD&I Headquarter Staff Duty Officer (HSDO).
- Conduct and complete end-of-day checklists; and properly open/close the General Davis Center, to include the SCIF.
- Will be required to open and close the General Davis Center, which requires the proper use of FF-L-2740 Combination Locks.
Supplemental Duties:
May be required to access and handle unclassified and classified information (up to the TS/SCI level) for specific work designated at the task order level via access to Joint World-wide Intel Communication System (JWICS) terminals within CD&I designated Government workspaces.
Education/Experience/Qualification:
- Must be a U.S. citzen.
- Possess an in-scope (per current DoD 5-year reinvestigation requirement).
- Favorable, Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) / T5 investigation (to include SBPR, PPR or T5R).
- Currently enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Continuous Vetting (CV) program, adjudicated for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility by the DoD Consolidated Adjudicative Services (DoD CAS) without conditions, exceptions, or waivers at the time of award and prior to performance under this contract.
- Are subject to random Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP) examinations as part of the Director of Intelligence's Continuous Evaluation Program.
Additional Skills:
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Proficiency in various MS Office applications for general support.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
Security Clearance:
Must possess a TOP SECRET clearance.
Work Schedule:
Onsite Monday through Friday, between the operating hours of 0530 and 2000. The contractor will work a normal 8-hour shift Monday – Friday.
Work Environment:
Primarily office environment.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand/walk for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
License and Other Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver’s license and availability of private transportation is
required.
Travel:
No travel is authorized or required for this effort.
